This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I finally got fed up with what an ugly POS Windoze 11 is and got rid of it. It is aesthetically unacceptable, so anything else it might bring to the table at this point is totally irrelevant.

    Speaking of antivirus and security programs... they all suck. Even ESET and Kaspersky sell virus anti-virus software now. Thankfully, I only install this crap on my crash dummy OSes for experimentation. I don't use any on the OSes I care about.
