I recently ran the system scan on TrendMicro and found out that my laptop was infected with a worm called "WORM_AGENT.YRB". I researched around and quite a few people caught it. I currently use Norton Internet Security 2007 and it never picked up the virus/malware.

My question is.. is there a program out there that will remove a malware when we run it? The only thing I've figured out was to boot it in Safe Mode and then edit the Registry and the startup in msconfig. That seemed to end that but I want to know if there's an easier way around it.

If you guys never ran TrendMicro and just run regular Antivirus and stuff, I advise you guys to go to their official website and use their scan called "HouseCalls". It's a pretty good feature that will tell you if you have any type of major virus or whatever.
