    I just wanna share something that I think is very usefull 4 a poor man like me . . . . . :) hehehehe :D

    1. Visit the the promo page ( https://license.avira.com/en/promotion-6dl7vtc3unbw2mzefr1b?id=5xJVVxx5Os)
    2. Fill in the forms and click on the “Request License Now” button.
    3. Check your inbox for an email from Avira. Alternatively you can simply hit "License Overview" button to get the license key and to download the software.
    4. Download both license key (HBEDV.KEY) and Avira AntiVir Premium to your computer.
    5. Start the installation. During installation, you will be prompted to import the HBEDV.KEY license key to validate your Avira Premium Security Suite.

    ENJOY . . . :)

I would suppose that the game here is to use a different email address/IP address combination every ninety days to try and cadge the functional equivalent of a years' worth of A/V coverage (assuming that the installation/validation routines don't generate a unique identifier based on the computer's internal components, in the same manner .Windows does).

Not really sporting, in my view.

For a 6-month free license (Avira Premium), check this out:
    http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1124341

It's a little confusing... you sign up on the German page https://license.avira.com/de/promotion-a8ydzq3fgnsu051rwq81 ... and then go to the English login page https://license.avira.com/en/ and go through the forgot password process... then go back to the English page and log in and it should offer the English version and the 6-month key file for download.

(Also... it says this deal is exclusively for readers of PC-WELT... so... I guess... brush up on your German and check it out: http://www.pcwelt.de/ ;) )
