    40gb hdd, Avast scanning 45gb??

    I've noticed this a few times, when the avast scan is complete it shows that it has scanned 45gb even though the space available is about 37gb from the 40gb hdd.

    Whats going on :confused:

    Hidden recovery partition? Which drives did you get avast to scan?

    Only scanned the one drive, which is 40gb, yet avast is scanning 45gb.

    As for hidden partition, I don't think there is one, well not from what I see in disk management.
