my x60, t2500, with a rev1.0 battery has failed to recharge itself after i ve use the battery calibration in the bios.

the battery is dead, and when i pressed the button on the battery the 20, 60 and 100 % lights are flashing.

i used MobileMeter to check and it said my battery is not charging.

XP can recognise my battery, but it said it has 0% remaining.

Does anyone has any idea what has happened? and any solutions??

    thank you.

The battery is died. I've had this happen on a couple of T43's I had. Unfortunately I think it is time for a new battery. How old is the X60? A year?

See this thread which discusses the same problem.

It appears that there is an inherent bug in the rev 1 battery but clever(?) design means that it doesn't cut in until the 12 month warranty has expired.

Did anyone try to pester Samsung support? While it is reasonable to expect some loss of capacity over a year, sudden battery death just after a year is not reasonable.
