    hi

    i want to hook up my q45 to my tv to watch movies etc , I have googled and read docs , but am not sure wether a simple vga to s video cable would be good enough as the video card must support tv out to do this
    does anyone know if the q45 would support this or if there are any simple solutions for hooking the q45 up to the tv display

    As far as I can see, the Q45 has only a standard VGA port and no separate video port. Therefore, your objective is a little challenging unless your TV happens to be one with a VGA port (they were quite popular a couple of years back when the LCD TVs were being sold as dual function TV / monitors).

    There are devices such as this.
    However, the picture quality may not be very good.
