I just got my Series 7 Chronos after two HPs in 5.5 years breaking down. I love it but it has an embedded battery, I think its LiPo. Is it OK to keep it plugged in at all times, as I usually do except when i take it somewhere, or should it normally be unplugged? Should I cycle the battery?

Do not deliberately cycle the battery except for doing the battery calibration in the BIOS every 6 months or so. Unless you need to use the full capacity of the battery then enable Battery Life Extender in (Easy) Settings. This limits the charging to 80% of capacity and reduces the wear on the battery.
