Hey I'm hoping someone has had and fixed this issue. I performed a fresh install of windows with the samsung CD, then dowloaded all latest drivers. Everything seems to work fine however, my mouse will just stop clicking (touchpad). I can still move the pointer and it highlights things, yet when clicked it does nothing. I have no idea what to do about it...here's what I've attempted so far.

    1: uninstall/reinstall mouse driver
    2: reboot multiple times
3: tried stopping/starting device when it happens but it does not resolve the issue.

The only fix I have is to reboot....very inconvenient.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I went back to the older driver and all is well now. The newer version is worse anyway imho.

The issue is caused by a bug in the elan driver. The option "One-Finger Drag & Drop : Tap again to release" does not work correctly and causes the described behavior.
Deactivate or change to a different sub-option as a quick-fix.

Update the driver to the newest driver and the issue will be fixed.
