    I want something very small and light that also works well on USB power alone. Thanks for your ideas.

    I know from experience that the LG GSA-E50L works fine off one USB port. The LG GP08NU10 appears to be a newer version and is reported to run off one USB port.

    Also look at the Liteon ESAU208 and the Samsung SE-S084B.
