Maybe John has an answer to this one. Am looking for:

    SAMSUNG NP350U2B-A01UK
    12.5" LAPTOP

It has about all I need, is apparently very quiet, no heat, long enough battery ... perfect to travel with ... but seems NOT AVAILABLE anymore. John do you have any idea where one may still be on sale ? Or a model that is as good in all categories. I hate noise, heat and need 4-5 hours battery life. Remember I go into jungles and so far Sansung netbooks have done amazingly well but need something a tick faster. People tell me Lenovo but that is far too expensive to take into jungle and mostly crappy screens. Thanks

That model seems to be well sold out and . It's a lot more money but how about the Samsung NP900X3A. It uses an SSD so no HDD to suffer from the high humidity. If you purchase it this week then you can get the VAT refunded by Samsung.

If your budget is small then maybe look at this but it weighs about 2kg. You could add your own SSD. Alternatively look thorugh the Dell lineup and then check what ex-Dell outlet stock is being resolt on ebay. I have picked up a couple of good deals that way.
