Does anyone have this laptop? and could tell me how you like/dislike it.

Also is there any other laptop you might recommend? I guess i could push the budget out to £700 - £750.. But for that price and spec i think this is well worth buying?

The R560 is the other 15.4" option from the Samsung range. It has a dedicated GPU and the red stripe. If you don't game and want something that is cool running and long battery life then the R510 is the better choice. There is some more info and links to reviews in this thread.

There has been very little discussion of the R510 here. That is probably because it has been well-behaved.

Regarding where to buy, there have been some problems with the customer service side of Laptops Direct and Save On Samsung. Dabs.com has received better feedback.

Hey thanks for your reply. Basically all i will need the laptop for is internet use and maybe playing some football manager. Which one out of the two do you reckon would be better for this? im quite happy with the R510 to be honest

The R510 will be fine for what you want to do. I wouldn't get the dedicated graphics unless really needed. In fact the cheapest version of the R510, which offers the best value for money, may meet your needs. Or the middle model, with more RAM and bigger HDD, but not the P series CPU (which is slightly faster and should be a little cooler under full load).
