This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i recently got the r505 and overall its a a decent laptop.

    the only little problem i have is the hinges. one of mine seems to be out of its socket by half a cm but doesnt effect the opening or closing of the laptop.i called samsung and they said they have no reports on file of anyone complaining about the hinges. maybe im being picky. anyone else have this problem?

    Take a photo and email it to them.

    There should a "contact Samsung" email link on the FAQ page of the Samsung website.
