    Hi just got a samsung R20 running on vista basic
    how can i install windows 7 ? As i have a w7 disc do i need to download drivers as well?
    sorry but not to clued up on this

    To install windows 7, you can insert the disc and you will have the option to upgrade or do a clean install. If you do an upgrade, you will still have all the stuff on your computer and won't have to install drivers again, but if you do a clean install, then everything will be deleted off the hard disk and have to be installed again.

    thanks for replying, i presume that i will need another key as i use that w7 on another laptop ?

    Yes. That's the expensive bit. Microsoft doesn't like people using the same key on different hardware. Regarding the drivers, Windows 7 is quite good at recognising previous generation hardware and automatically installing the drivers. However, you may have a little more fun trying to find suitable versions of the Samsung utility software.
