I've had my 700G7A for a month and today the easy software manager has prompted me to update the system BIOS to vesion 02FF .
I am wary as i dont wanna brick the laptop and i cant find out any info on what this update does.
So i am curious has anybody tried it yet?
What does confuse me is that the samsung support web page with updates for my specific model shows the last BIOS update as released november 2011-i cant tell if its the same one as being offered to me thru the easy software manager.

The Website hosts only the update driver.....If you download that and run it, it tells you your current firmware version and if there is an update it recommends. I am on 02FF and no problems so far. I cant tell you what has changed but the options menu is still the same.

Wish SAMSUNG would unlock the BIOS for O/Cing!!!!!!
