I opened the laptop up to see the internal components (hard drive, memory, etc) and I saw an unused connector below the hard drive and next to the memory chips. Can anyone tell me what this might be used for? I would like to add an internal bluetooth adapter, so I'm hoping it can be used for this purpose.

Same question, I want internal Bluetooth.

Here's a photo of the port in question, sorry for dragging up an old thread.

I'm sure that port has been talked about previously and the conclusion was that it was for connection of a diagnostic cable or similar and not for the Bluetooth module. This site shows a couple of Bluetoogh modules that it claims are compatible with Samsung notebooks, and neither look as if they would fit that port.

Thanks for the info. It looks like I'll have to get a tiny USB module instead of going the internal route. Thanks again.
