So I was saving up to buy and r780 and went onto bestbuy.com to order it, and reading over the specs I realized that they switched out the Nvidia 330m GPU for and Radeon 5470. A Radeon 5470 has about half the power and is useless for modern games. Probably to make room for the much higher priced rf710. s.

Is the RF Series pretty much just a retread of the r series with a higher price? Does the RF710 with its i7 processor run noticably louder and hotter than the i5 r780? Please let me know how your rf series laptop handles.

Any professional reviews that you've seen?

You might get a few clues about the new models from Notebookcheck's review of the NF310 but i can't find any reviews of the RF series.
