    Hi,

    I can't get into my BIOS. On boot-up, I press F2 multiple times, but it boots into Windows 8.

    I tried updating my BIOS using SW Update, but always get 'Update Failed'.

    Can someone please help me?

    When fast start is enabled there's only about a 1 second time window for the computer to detect the F2. Try tapping the F2 key about twice per second immediately after pressing the power button or just keep tapping F2 after your computer goes black during a restart.

    With Windows 8 the alternative way into the BIOS is Charms > Change PC Settings > General > Advanced Startup. Then select the option about boot order. The computer with then reboot straight into the BIOS setup.

    The alternative way to install a BIOS update is to use the standalone BIOS update program. See the first post in this thread. Download the new BIOS file then right click and Run as Administrator.

    Thanks, John for the reply.

    I still can't get into my BIOS using F2.

    I did get into BIOS setup using your method (not exactly, but figured it out). Fast start isn't enabled.

    I also used the BIOS Update program and it fails on 'Cannot Download. Please Try Again.'
