    can i upgrade my x60 t2300 core duo 1.66 to core 2 duo processor on my laptop? cheers.....

    I'm not sure. Samsung changed to the X60 plus with a different BIOS series when they introduced the C2D into the X60. You might find that Core Duo CPUs up to the T2700 would work OK.

    Are you needing 64-bit?

    the x60plus bios is the same as my x60 bios 10xa anyway i already flash it on my laptop wonder is there any difference does that mean i can upgrade to core2 duo?

    You will see that all the downloads listed on the Samsung global download site for the X60plus are the same as for the X60. Hence my comment about the NT-X60plus downloads. You will see that the BIOS there is 03XD.

    The current BIOS for the X60plus is the 20XD. 10XA refused to upgrade 03XD (although Samsung support claimed it would). You can try 20XD with 10XA. The update does a compatibility check before you press the button to proceed with the flashing.

    Well, if you've managed to flash to 20XD and everything is OK then there's a good chance that a C2D CPU will work fine.
