I'm not sure. Samsung changed to the X60 plus with a different BIOS series when they introduced the C2D into the X60. You might find that Core Duo CPUs up to the T2700 would work OK.
Are you needing 64-bit?

The latest X60 plus BIOS is at SamsungPC.com.
The BIOS at the Samsung global download center didn't work for me. If you want the X60 plus drivers / software go down the list to the NT-X60plus.

You will see that all the downloads listed on the Samsung global download site for the X60plus are the same as for the X60. Hence my comment about the NT-X60plus downloads. You will see that the BIOS there is 03XD.
The current BIOS for the X60plus is the 20XD. 10XA refused to upgrade 03XD (although Samsung support claimed it would). You can try 20XD with 10XA. The update does a compatibility check before you press the button to proceed with the flashing.

Well, if you've managed to flash to 20XD and everything is OK then there's a good chance that a C2D CPU will work fine.
