The McAfee security that came with my netbook is about to expire. Everyone I read in this forum seems to think McAfee is a "dog" and should be removed. Any thoughts on what's best to replace it with? Don't mind paying, but am not sure what to get, or what I really need. Use the netbook to surf a lot, but fairly secure sites and I don't respond to unknown e-mailers and the like.
    THANKS!

Take a look at NOD32. It is reckoned to be one of the least resource-hungry AV packages and is the one i have been using for the past 18 months.

Pricing is much better if you go for one of the multiple computer licences.
