My X360 screen cracked recently, and I'm looking to replace it. It is a Samsung panel, part number LTN133AT14. I ordered a "compatible" display from screenaid/laptopz.com, but it turned out to be the LTN133AT09 which doesn't fit.
Does anyone know general sources for replacement Samsung screens here in the US? I've tried locating the part I need but it looks like it's been discontinued. Is there a way to check which of Samsung's current panels are compatible?

LTN133AT14 (-01). Also try googling for part BA59-02301A. There is another LED which is very similar, but has the screwholes on the side rather than the top. Avoid this one, as the cables don't match.
This is the only LED I am aware of that fits this laptop. It is freaking expensive too. Your country should have an authorised Samsung repair shop that can send you a replacement.
I have not seen it outside of Europe. I ordered mine from a UK distributor of a company in Europe (EET Nordic), being that it was much cheaper than what the authorised Samsung repairshop Digicare wanted (£326 = $536!!!).
Good luck! -
Leonichol, thanks for the tips, especially the alternate part number. The "compatible" panel I received (and will send back) is what you describe, with screw holes on the sides and a cable that doesn't fit.
I looked up the alternate part number, and see some matches, but it IS freaking expensive -- I have to consider it. I guess the lesson is to not buy from manufacturers that don't offer "accidental damage" protection, or at least not from (for the US) relatively niche players like Samsung. I see similar screens from the LTN133ATxx series that are used in Macbooks easily available new for ~$100-150!! -
This just happened to me. What did you end up doing? Do you have any suggestion on how to know if the replace you find will work?

http://www.laptopz.com/samsung-ltn133at05s01-133-wxga-laptop-lcd-screen-glossy-led-p-18618.html
This are both ones that were said to be compatible. But after reading your post, it makes me a little worried to trust what screenid/laptopz recommends.
Any advise? -
In addition do you have any suggestion one what i need to watch out for when finding a replacement part

Did you find a replacement for your broken screen ? I wonder if one of this 13.3 LCDs used in macbooks could be installed in Samsung X360 too. This screens have 30pin data connector. Any ideas

Any Update on this ? Thanks

I too was in need of this screen for my Samsung X360. All the stores online were OOS when I placed an order.
However, I gave a call to J&J International - a supplier of Samsung Parts. Their number is 1-800-627-4368. Guy told me they had the screen (BA59-2301A) in stock for $232.80.
The breakdown is as follows:
Screen - $232.80
Shipping - $11.04
Handling - $5.50
Tax (CA/NJ) - $19.21
Total = $268.54
A little pricey, but the only place online that had the screen for cheaper was screenaid. Didn't want to order from them after reading all the scam stories.
