Can anyone tell me which touchpad driver they have installed please ? I have a series 9 np900x3d (A01UK).

Since installing Windows 10 Creator Update my touchpad has been pretty jumpy and two finger scroll hasn't worked well. Not sure if anyone else has this issue ?

I guess Windows installed a conflicting driver. I tried updating the driver from Samsung Software Update and it gave me 11.7.33.1 which was better but not good, so then I updated via Device Manager and it gave me 15.7.9.2 which is still poor.

    Thanks !

I am using 15.7.9.2 which was installed automatically by Win10 Creator. It works as intended on my NP700Z3A, including two-finger scroll and two-finger right-click.

For years I had stayed with 11.7.10.4 (from Samsung) which I found the most stable and trouble free. But with Win10 I decided to give Microsoft a chance to do their thing -- partly because it is such a pain to use a different driver than the one Win10 wants you to.

You will find the good old ETDAniConf.exe tool in your C:\Program Files\Elantech folder, which you can try using to tweak touchpad settings and see if that helps. Some of the tweaks available in this tool are hidden by default, requiring registry edits to reveal them. See this post and this post for more on that.

So I finally figured out that the erratic, crazy touchpad problem started when I bought an oem adapter from Amazon. Quite a common issue apparently. Hopefully a genuine replacement will fix the issue...

An adapter? USB, display port, or what kind of adapter? Link to the failing one? More details would be helpful, thanks :)

Thanks, maybe it's not got enough power?
    • Output: 19V 2.1A, 40W with 3.0*1.0 mm connector
What wattage rating is the original power adapter?
