After I’ve read mr J. Ratsey’s review and after I’ve made a web-search, I want to buy a Samsung NP-Q35 laptop (definitely the red one).
I’m sending this mail from Greece, Athens. Unfortunately I don’t think I can find it in Greece but I have 2 friends there (in London) and they could it for me. Please, can u tell me where can I find the lower price, where did u buy it and how much? Is there anything I should be aware of? Any special advises? Is it worthy as a choice?

Thank u so much for your time. I wish that I will find it.
    Take care,
    dimitris

    859 GBP (online only)
BTW note this page about VAT FREE exports:

    http://www.microanvika.com/search.asp?keywords=samsung+Q
    899 (online and store)

Micro Anvika is a bit of a rip off shop in terms of pricing. That said, I know someone who has gone in there and haggled their way into buying a display model. Its worth a try. See Q35 display model here for 799GBP:

Also check www.pcworld.co.uk (online and store)

I was also thinking of Micro Anvika if people are most comfortable going into a shop. The ex-demo model has reasonable pricing, if available. Otherwise the cost has to include the overhead of running a shop and the on-line retailers are cheaper.

DigiUK is another possible source, for delivery within UK.

I was wondering whether exports would be eligible to VAT refund through the retail export scheme. However, exports to other countries within EU are not eligible (but if you happen to meet your friends in a non-EU country then VAT reclaim could be possible).
