*** i do not want the one sold by Best Buy. ***

the configuration i was interested in has a Core i5-520 and the Nvidia GT 330M. upon research, Canada seems to be the closest to the US that sells this particular model.

    any ideas?

The best solution is the one to get from NCIX.com since its Canadian and its located in British Columbia. I compared to my Korean's friends Core i5-520 vs Core i5-430m, there isn't much of a difference and we most games in almost the similar settings, the difference between the fps is like 1 to 4 and that isn't by much. However there were 1 out of 12 R480 that has defective GPU because when I got mine, it kept crashing and pixeling. My advice is when you first get it, run OCCT to check the stress on the GPU and the CPU is upgradeable since there a screw lock for it. If your gonna import one from Singapore, why not just go and buy the Asus G51, its gonna be the same price for importing.

when i just bought the r480, first 2 days. i already know there is a problem with the gpu.

most game crash within 10-20 mins. no matter what drivers which windows xp whatever.
    doesn't fix it
