As a replacement for the NC10 which one would you recommend ? The NC10 survived the Amazon so I need something that remains cool, and deals Ok with humidity. I would like a bigger screen but will that take away battery life (510). Also read that the power supply block of the 510 gets really warm, that would be of no use in warm climate unless I can use the power supply of an NC10 for the 510 ? I need something silent, looooong battery and as light as possible ...

    Haven't we been here before?

What are your priorities? eg: battery life; processing power, screen size; gloss / matte screen; keyboard size, durability.

The N510, as well as having a bigger screen, packs more (graphics) power into a similar sized chassis and uses the same 40W power supply as the other Samsung netbooks. It's not surprising that it runs a little warmer. However, you may well find that the heat difference is not significant under light usage but it will heat up more if you use the extra power.

This review indicates that the N210 uses 1024 x 600. Are you thinking of the NC20 which was 1280 x 800?

No,I am talking about the N210. I was using it in person at my local bestbuy. There is an option to change resolution to 11xomsthin x 8something.

my NB30 can do that as well. It is samsung's own software. Screen will appear stretched of course...
