Hi guys, I have a problem with my new Samsung RC512 i7, which I bought two months ago. I am no longer able to use the integrated webcam: the system just tells me that it cannot detect the integrated camera! I have been using it for skype every day since I bought the laptop! Can you please suggest me what I should do?? Thank you

Are there any unconfigured devices in Device Manager? These usually have an exclamation mark symbol.
It is possible that the connector for the camera has worked loose from the main board. I don't know how accessible that will be to check. Any cables that have to pass through a hinge have extra stress on them.

just replace camera cable ( Y cable ). but this job require much times, because you have to open the bottom housing (MB connector) and the bezel (LCD + webcam connector).
