Ciao, sono sul pallone, anche perchè non sono espertissimo e sono indeciso sull'acquisto tra questi due Samsgung:
    Serie 5 Ultra - PANORAMICA | SAMSUNG
    Serie 9 - PANORAMICA | SAMSUNG
A parte che uno ha una SSD e l'altro no, ma vorrei sapere quale è migliore dei due.
POI vorrei sapere se uno dei due ha LA TASTIERA RETRO-ILLUMINATA.

    Rough translation

Heading ~ Ultrabook Samsung : Can someone tell me which of the 2 is better

Hello, I'm freaking out, because I'm not an expert and I'm undecided about which of these two Samsung I should purchase : Series 5 Ultra SAMSUNG or Series 9 - SAMSUNG

Apart than one has an SSD and the other hasn't, I would like to know which one of the two is better. Plus I would like to know if one of them has a backlit keyboard. Thx

@HerEsY: Thanks for the translation. I recall that the forum rules call for discussions to be in the English language.

Series 9 is thinner, lighter, is made of metal, the SSD makes it faster and has a backlit keyboard. For me one of the important differences is the display resolution: Series 9 has 1600 x 900 (high quality PLS on the 13.3" model) compared to 1366 x 768 on the Series 5. I wanted the extra resolution which enables me to have more information on the screen.

I'm sorry for my language mistake. Are you telling me ASUS Zenbook UX32VD is better because it is a full hd?

That depends on either how good your eyesight is or how much trust you place in Windows display scaling. My old eyes like my 15" NP900X4C (1600 x 900 resolution) because the text size is OK at 100% scaling. For a while I used the 13.3" X3B but the smaller text was too challenging for my eyes. If I were half my age I would probably be happy with 13.3" FHD: 25 years ago I was using an Osborne 1 with a 5" screen.

I'm sorry to have to break it to you, my friend, but the Osborne is now over 30 years ago. I had one too. Time flies at our age.

About 26 years ago I got a Compaq portable with almost the same form factor as the Osborne (Singer sewing machine with a 5 inch screen) but this time it was a "real" 80386 PC with a hard drive. Beautiful contraption, and only about 25 pounds, if I recall :D

Correction: it was a Portable II I had, with 80286 and a HUGE 9 inch screen.

Re the thread topic: I find 1600x900 to be perfect on my 14 inch Series 7.

The Osborne 1 was my work computer from 1985 to 1987. I was in Egypt and inherited from my predecessor so it could have been a 1983 model. At the same time I had one of these as my personal laptop and would move data between the two using a serial cable.

Right, syncing data through serial cables. I remember that.

OK, enough. Sorry guys. Back to the program.
