Pb: On my R719 the left button started acting erratically, then not at all.

Action and diagnosis: blew some air, sprayed contact fluid. I pried the double key open and inspected visually; no visible defect on the contact. It is not working at all.

    Interpretation: Overused?

    What can be done?

Temporary fix: I reassigned left click to the right button.

(and is it possible to have right click through a key combination?)

    Thanks

Same happened on my sisters R580, I sent it for warranty repair (along with some other issues), as far as I can see they replaced mainboard to fix it.

Works fine now, but I guess it will eventually wear out again sooner or later.
