My wife bought me the samsung R60 plus at xmas,i think its a great laptop.

I wonder if anyone has managed to get the "Hear a tone when you press Caps lock,Num lock,or scroll lock" to work? No matter what i try i cannot get the warning tone when pressing caps lock. (Running Vista home premium)

    Any suggestions appreciated :)

    Thank you. :)

I presume that you are referring to Control Panel > Ease of Access Center > Turn on Toggle Keys.

I can't get it to work on my Zepto either, but for me that's no issue. I prefer my computer to be quiet. Maybe it is a Vista issue and you might get more help in the Windows forum.

Yes john, thats the one. My son in law bought a laptop a few days after i got mine (an "Acer" IIRC) his is running vista home premium too & the "beep" works ok so i dont think its a vista problem.

I can live with it but it would be interesting to know why it wont work on my RP60 plus. ;)

Many thanks for the replies John & Ventmore.
