    Take out laptop battery after it's fully charged?

    Hi fellows. For all laptops, if one intend to run it on mains, should one take out the laptop battery if it's fully charged so as to maintain the battery 'health'?

    I recall reading that Lithium batteries are best stored in a partly charged condition (although I have never followed that advice). My Samsung X60 does not recharge the battery until the charge level drops below 97%. This avoids the frequent top-up charging which will eat away the life expectancy of a battery in a computer which is usually plugged into the mains supply and therefore reduces the benefit of removing the battery from the computer.
