I have the Sammy 17" laptop available at Best Buy. I decided to ditch Win 8 and go with Win 7.
Everything is working great except for a blue tooth driver problem. BT works fine. Device manager is clean,
no yellow. But if I go to devices I have a yellow exclamation point. The properties says the driver isn't digitally signed.

I downloaded the drivers for my laptop from the Samsung site. All 64 bit drivers for win 7 ultimate 64bit.

Any ideas on how to fix this. Ive re-downloaded the drivers several times and always get the same result.

    thanks

    Ty

Somebody else posted about that recently -- maybe it was you :)

I am puzzled that you even see a Bluetooth device under Devices (outside Device Manger). You could try and uninstall all Bluetooth drivers in Programs and Features. Win7 has built-in basic Bluetooth support.

If that works, but you need some of the advanced (and significantly more bloated) Bluetooth features, you can go to Intel Download Center and search for Centrino 6235 drivers (I assume that's what you have). I am seeing BT_2.6.1211_s64.exe there dated 01/21/2013.

Personally, I don't have any Bluetooth drivers installed beyond the basic Win7 ones. Admitedly, I don't use Bluetooth and keep it powered off most of the time

Thanks for the fast feedback. In that case I suggest you wait installing those Intel Bluetooth drivers until you actually need the features (if ever). Like most Intel software these days, they have a significant footprint.
