    Hello Everyone,

Has anyone gotten Windows 8 to Install to Series 7 NP700Z7C-S01US? I have installed Windows 8 on several devices but I can just get this one to work.

    I get the error below:

"Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code 0x80070570."

Before you go posting the obvious, I've tried installing from a usb drive and 3 burns of a DVD, 1 of which was done on a different PC with a completly new download (even though I know the iso I have works).

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried and succeeded or failed.

    Thanks

Ok, so I came to the conclusion, if you want to install Windows 8, you need to install Windows 7 AND all the drivers first.

There is one problem however, and that's the Optimus drivers. It appears NVidia doesn't have Windows 8 drivers for it, thus, for some reason, you can't install the Windows 8 NVidia drivers for the GPU. The HD4000 drivers work fine.

If anyone knows how to get around or get the dedicated GPU to work, please inform.

Just install the latest 304.xx NVIDIA beta drivers. They work perfectly.

What about the Easy Software Manager? You get that working by any chance?
