Start by reading this, this and, if your computer has ExpressCache, this.

My laptop doesn´t have expremsscache, at least windows doesn´t find it with any kind of program. What bios is the right one for me if I want to roll back? I have tried to find out the whole last night, but I´m not 100% sure. My laptop is Samsung NP530-A08SE. I have tried to reflast the bios and couple of different settings as well in bios, but the problem still occurs.

Which model do you have? NP530........ The one reviewed here has the ExpressCache otherwise called the iSSD. This device is known to give problems and if the BIOS is having difficulty talking to it then the boot process will be delayed. The best way to check for whether the iSSD is present is to find the specifications for your version of this notebook. If the BIOS eventually concludes that the iSSD is broken then Windows won't find it.

If you definitely do not have the iSSD then I would next remove the HDD.If the BIOS then immediately reports that there is no HDD then that is likely to be the problem.

Thanks for the answer so far.

My model is Samsung NP530U3C-A08SE, which should contain issd aka expresscache. For some reason I assume bios is searching for this at the startup and that´s why it´s not booting up immediately. You can´t find issd on device control or bios or anywhere. Where issd is located inside the laptop? Like on motherboard? How can I bypass the bios check up or can´t I do it at all?

The iSSD used by ExpressCache does NOT show anywhere in BIOS. It is not a "real" SSD, nor can it be booted. It should show up under Disk Drives in Windows Device Manager. I suggest you use the free tool HWiNFO to check its health. If it starts to die, it can cause severe delays during startup, for which the only solution is a motherboard replacement. Recent posts in our ExpressCache thread (the last of John's links) has more discussion about that.

The first thing you should try is to uninstall the ExpressCache software (using Windows Programs and Features control panel). The computer will run a little slower (due to the lack of caching) but there should be no severe delays -- unless the iSSD is physically defect or something else is wrong.

Me too. Did you find a solution? It seems that iSSD is dead completely (there is no second disk in Disk Management) and it slows down BIOS. Samsung 530U3C

Please see my response in the other thread where you posted ( here).

And please don't post questions about the same problem in multiple threads (so-called cross posting). It's a sure way to draw ire on internet forums (any forum) because members waste time reading and answering questions, only to later find it was already answered elsewhere. The rule is to post where you find it most relevant, then wait at least 24 hour before posting it again elsewhere (or bumping in the same thread).

Don't worry, it is a common mistake, not just you ;)
