I'd like to know the Samsung policy about the HDD/SSD and RAM replacement by customers,
Is it possible that this practice leads to void the warranty?
Are usually present in the Samsung Notebooks any kind of markers or stickers to avoid these replacements?

If you ask Samsung they will say that opening the computer to do anything which is not described in the User Guide will invalidate the warranty. One basis for this may be that Samsung's warranty covers the hardware supplied by Samsung and not a mixture of Samsung + user hardware. In reality, no one has reported any seals and the practical rules are (i) cause no damage and (ii) keep any exchanged parts so that you can put them back in if you need warranty service. Bearing in mind that many users don't want to send in a computer with an SSD / HDD containing personal data, putting back the original storage device improves data security.

    What's it means?
Are you saying of do not damage the screws or instead there are special screws do not touch?

If I understand correctly the John's answer, until now Samsung has never used markers or stickers to check possible misuse of its notebooks, is it correct?

Yes. The screws fixing the base are quite small. You need to use a good quality screwdriver that fits correctly.

That's my understanding from the Samsung notebooks I've used and discussions on this forum during the past several years.

If anyone has come across a security seal or sticker on a Samsung notebook please say so.
