I just removed the hdd in my 13" samsung ultra touch 5 series notebook, now I'm getting a black screen saying (All boot options are tried. Press f4 key to recover with factory image using recovery or any other keys for next boot loop iteration. But when I press f4 I get the same exact thing happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If the HDD is corrupted or the recovery partition is deleted then Samsung Recovery Solution won't get very far.

See this thread for other suggestions as to how to get the other Fn keys to work. Start with this one.

I went and got my hardware checked out at geek squad they said everything was fine. That I had to figure out a way to get into bios and then reinstall windows

More than likely the bios went from UEFI compatible on to off or visa versa. The reason being is if the drive is GPT and UEFI is off it may not see a bootable partition.

I'm going to use another computer today and notry to install Windows 8 on a usb and then go from there. I had winows 8.1 on it when it was updating and died on me. Does that matter, also if you have any suggestions that may work for me I'm open to try haha. I took the hdd out yesterday and got to a black screen telling me to press f4 key to recover with factory image using recovery or any other keys for next boot loop iteration. F4 and anything else didn't work for me :( I'm trying not to pay $130 to bring it to best buy. They told me if I cannot figure out how to get into the BIOS some how and put the windows back onto it then they can just wipe the laptop out clean and put a fresh windodoes onto it. But they suggested I try first to save myself the money :)
