Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has heard whether or not there will be new revisions of any Samsung notebooks for Vista with Vista preinstalled (like Sony's upgrade from the SZ3 -> SZ4).
If not, will WindowsXP remain the preinstalled OS until a new laptop generation is released?

A Q35 with Vista is being advertised in UK. It may be a special for PC World since it uses the T5200 CPU, or it may be the first of a new batch since I deduce that it has 512MB on board (1GB total RAM).
I am sure that more Samsung notebooks with Vista are on the way. Judging by past performance, they will probably be advertised by retainers before Samsung update their web site. Personally, I am happy to get an old model with XP and buy the Vista upgrade. That way, I can always fall back to XP if Vista proves to have problems which outweigh the benefits.

How do you work out the memory situation? Wouldn't it still be 1280MB? This worries me slightly since the one major advantage the Samsung Q35 had over the Toshiba U200-115 was that extra little bit of memory. It would be rather annoying if its been dropped since the max memory on the Samsung is 1GB. Anyone know the max on the Tosh U200-115?
