Is there any news on a Samsung laptop with a ATI/AMD graphics card?

Samsung always made great laptops with Ati.

P60 with the ATI x1600, P35 and ATI 9700 and ofcourse the X60plus with the X1700 just to name a few.

I think the Ati HD 2600 series looks very promising due to the 65nm design.

I am sure I read that they will be bringing out ATI models, but I would expect that they are waiting for ATI to deliver some working chips and drivers before firming up the production plans.

In the mean time they can finish off the driver for the X1700 in the X60plus so I can have my working PowerPlay. I think they are hoping I will buy an X65 instead.

    I recommend to read this:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=122340

Latest tests and benchmark show NVidia cards are more powerful(starting with the 7600 lineup) than ATI (and sometime even consume less power).
Don't get me wrong, I am neither fan of NVidia nor of ATI (and I actually have ATIx 1600 in my notebook), it just the numbers that speak.

I am not sure what you are linking but that is just Chaz's general GPU info page. I have not seen any tests of a HD 2600xt yet. Atleast not the laptop version. I saw one benchmark that showed around 4000 3dMarks06 but thats it. That was from here:

The 2600xt is not out yet so impossible to tell I think.
