This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    FYI. I saw this in Seoul for under $1100.

    i5 3210
    15.6" 1600x900 300 nit display
    650M 2GB DDR3
    4 GB RAM 1600mhz
    750 GB hard drive

    Everything else looks like it's similar to the Series 7 Chronos (17.3").

    I am still probably leaning towards either waiting until next year or getting a TP w530, but I wouldn't be surprised if something similar as this being released in the States.
