    Hello Everyone!
I notice there are dead pixel/stuck pixel on my screen and the right side of the panel there is a bright god ray coming through from the back of the panel. I've lived with the dead pixel from day one~ Now i'm wishing to replace the panel....but it seems not an easy task due to the "glued" bezel and the rubber strip surrounding the display assembly.

I'm wondering if anyone have a reliable source to purchase the top assembly for this particular model?

    Thank you so much!

Look for the display assembly for the NP900X4C part # BA96-06178A. It's the same part as for the X4B but costs about $300 new.

You might want to look for a used display salvaged from an X4C which has died for other reasons.

Thank you so much! John! i will try and see if i can salvage one from an x4c if possible...but if i were to buy that part my only concern being if it is a full assembly or just the lcd panel itself.

It's very unlikely that someone would try to sell a second-hand panel and not the complete display. I think the panel is glued into the lid assembly and likely to be damaged when the parts are disassembled.
