    Hey,

I've installed Windows 10. Original system is 7.
I tried to instal SRS 5 but I get information from the installer that the system does not support GPT disks.
My disk is till MBR - I checked it in Device Manager.

My point is to install SRS to have possibility to do backup. However I do not know how to make that - installer won't pass me.
SW Update gives me only SRS 5.

I've seen a guide to Install it but I am not sure it is related to my problem.

SRS5 generally doesn't work with Windows versions above Win7. Partition layout (GPT vs MBR) is only part of it.

Remember, SRS is not just a Windows App, it relies on software on on the SRS Recovery Partition, which hooks into the boot process and is very OS specific. I am guessing the SRS5 Windows Installer is merely preventing you from installing something that would never work, even if you managed to install it.

You will need to start over and install SRS6, which is based on Win8. @Gulfmaster has an excellent guide and thread (linked below) discussing how to make that work with Win10.
