Recently, I received my Samsung NP550P7C-S05UK from a Samsung repair centre.

I have been trying to restore my backup from my external hard drive using the Samsung Recovery boot software.
While trying to restore my backup, it reaches 100% and then displays the error message " The recovery could not complete (2200)".
The backup is up to 320 GB in size.

Alternatively, sometimes the recovery does not reach 100% and displays this error message "The action could not be completed (1005)".

It seems as though the recovery software is failing to configure the Windows/User Environment.

Does anyone have any idea on how I could troubleshoot this?

    UPDATE:
I managed to overcome this issue by allowing the recovery to fail - I then used Ubuntu to repair the Windows Partition, and also use a Windows 8 Recovery CD to repair the partition.

All of my files are still present, it seems as though the boot section was corrupt.
