Hello, good day to everyone. Im new to this forum. Im having problems with my dad's laptop which is samsung rc512. Basically he did a clean install of his operating system from Windows 7 Home to Professional. He told me he wiped out everything before installing the new OS, he backed up all his files, but not the drivers and softwares that came preinstalled with the laptop. So when he went to start up the laptop everything was gone including the wifi adapter, webcam and a lot more important stuff. I found this site where it says I can download samsung drivers/softwares Support - Notebooks NP-RC510E | Samsung Laptops

I installed everything that I need from that site but the adapter seems to not be included on the list. The laptop cant connect to the wifi however the internet works fine if directly plugged to the modem. I installed the Wifi Display Manager and when I try to open it, it says My Wifi Technology DLL is not found. I dont know where to downlaod it. I would really appreciate your input regarding this. Is the laptop doomed for life? :(

    Thank You!!

Samsung use a mixture of Intel, Broadcom and Atheros WiFi adaptors. The RC512 drivers are here (US version).

Does Device Manager show a device with an exclamation mark?

Did you install the Samsung Easy Display Manager software? This may help in getting things set up because it will enable the Fn key that switches the WiFi card on and off (if the card is off then it won't be detected and the driver won't install).
