Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with this computer. At the beginning the computer has a blue screen when the user tried to login in the normal mode. After a login as safe mode a new blue screen appears with the error message unmountable boot volume. I tried to recovery it but it didn't work. i tried with windows dvd, or usb and was stack on the loading after you click repair the computer. if i used the f4 for recovery i had the same problem, stacks. after i tried to format the HHD with linux live cd, is not booting, and if you press f2 or f4 is says waiting, but nothing is doing. what i have to do so i can have access to recovery or bio?

thank you and sorry for my bad english

I wonder if the HDD has problems. You should be able to get into the BIOS using F2 even if the HDD has read problems. However, a problem with the HDD interface or connector may mean that the BIOS is hanging because it can't communicate with the HDD. Try removing the HDD and see if the computer will boot. If so, test the HDD in another computer (eg using USB enclosure).

The evidence points to a damaged HDD. Perhaps electronically damaged in a way that the BIOS can't talk to the HDD controller to find out what model it is (when the HDD is removed the BIOS doesn't try). There's a small chance that the problem is with the cable but I'd first test the HDD as an external device on another computer. The easiest way is using a USB 2.5" HDD enclosure.
