Sometimes when I take out the power cable from my notebook, it turns off, instead start working from battery. It happens not always, but so annoying.
Somebody knows such problem? How to solve it?
    Thank you in advance.

You are correct. The switchover should happen automatically. It seems that the electronics which do the switching are not acting quickly enough and acomponent may have to be replaced.

Has this problem always happened? How long have you had the computer?

Not always, but sometimes. This problem appear couple days ago, when I took back my computer from service center. I had Samsung R50 about 1,5 year.
I think, there isn't any switcher inside. I think power supply make by parallel scheme. So if there is not power adapter, power go from the battery.
i suppose that there isn't a contact between bettery and chassis.

Maybe the service center have caused a new problem when fixing something else.

This does happen sometimes. You should contact them.

I hate our service! :) They broke in my notebook all that they can brake. I think, that I understand more than them in notebook construction. I'd better lose my waranty than take notebook to service again.
P.S.: my notebook was in service for 3 times, due to one small problem - cooling.
Anyway thanx for your help. I think, I'll change PC to Mac soon.

Hey, Ged1, just wondering about your keyboard: does it rival a full desktop keyboard in terms of spacing between keys, the feeling you get when the keys are pressed, etcetera? Does it feel like a desktop keyboard? I was looking at the Samsung site, and the R50 keyboard looks really comfortable. Is it?

    Thanks!
