Please help me with Samsung R40-T2050 Ceduin, also looking at:
    Sony VGN-N11M/W
    LG F1-224EG

    which to buy?

Is it worth to go with specs but a lower end company?

Although it won't help you, I think all three are good notebooks. Unfortunately, I have no experiences with LG, but I know that Sonys are in relation quite expensive (Samsung too, but not as much as Sony).

To be more specific, what I want is this...
    1.Durability
2.Durability (I cant change it in less than 2-3 years, neither do I want to have any brush up with the support/service guys)
    3.DVD playing/decoding and recoding/burning
    4.Less hang-ups
