    Please help me.

I am considering buying one of these 2 laptops but really do not know which one to purchase.

The Samsung R40 i am considerign purchasing is a good spec and slightly better that the Sony Vaio. The prices are the same as i can get a good deal on the Samsung R40 from Tesco Direct.

Only problem I have is that I have seen the Sony Vaio in many stores in the UK and I think the screen is great and in general the machine looks very nice. But it is lacking in some basic fundamentals in my opinion such as the Keyboard in my opinion feeling a little cheap, the RAM only being 512MB and it only has 2 usb connection points.

The Samsung R40 as i stated is a slightly higer spec but I have not physically seen this in any major stores in the UK so can't really make a solid opinion on it yet. I have seen pictures on the net and it seems nice but its not the same as actually seeing the laptop with your own 2 eyes and testing it out. So just wanted to know if anyone knows a uk non online store that is selling the Samsung R40 so that I can take a look at it???

Lastly, if anyone has used both these machines I would really appreciate feeback on which one you feel is the better buy and had a better build etc...??/Also how does the Samsungs screen compare with that of the Sony Vaio's as this is very importnat to me??

    Thanks in advance.

Whatever make you think I work for Samsung UK??? I am just a customer! If I did work for Samsung UK I would be trying to do something about their cobweb site. The information about the X60 is almost a year out of date.

As for where to see a live Samsung notebook. There is a where to buy link on the Samsung UK website. For my town, it tells me to check Tesco, PC World and Currys.
