I think the complete computer name is np-q530-js02se.

I`m going to try to provide as much details as possible because I really would like to get this thing to work again.

I was sitting in front of the computer browsing some random websites(not doing anything special) when I get the computer kind of crashes and I get a BSOD.

When I restart my computer I hear a strange/funny beeping noice/melody for a second or two and pretty much all I can see is this blue Samsung logo startup screen "press f2 for restart, f4 for recovery".

I press f2 and get "please wait" and nothing happens.
I press f4 and get "please wait" and nothing happens.
I press f12 and get "please wait and nothing happens.
I press ESC and get a black screen with some processor information etc.

I am not sure if I did get a samsung recovery CD, if I did it's lost. However I did put ubuntu(linux boot disk) on a USB stick, and the USB stick in my computer but it still would not boot. Then I tried a ubuntu cd but that doesn't boot my computer either.

Then I removed my hard drive and this time, I did not get any beeping noise. The screen moves past the samsung logo and I get "No operating system found". If I press F2 now I can get into BIOS. I can also boot from USB/CD.

If I boot via CD/USB and then connect my HDD to the computer I still can't find the HDD. I tried plugging my HDD to a stationary computer(not really sure if you CAN do this) but the HDD remains invisible.

So I am guessing the problem is the HDD... Is there any way I can fix this, or recover the information from it?

It does look as if the HDD has died, to the extent that the computer can't talk to it.

I would put the HDD into an external USB enclosure and see if I can read it in another computer. If that is not possible then the only way you can get your data is by sending the HDD to data recovery specialists.

Defective HDD. Try removing It (simple, 2 screws) and see if it gets past BIOS. It will ;)

It does get past BIOS when I removed it.

I went to the store where I bought it to use the warranty but damn, it feels like I'm dealing with the maffia. If it's a user caused problem they would charge me 120 $ and they would have to keep my computer for at least a month...

Warranty obiously doesn't mean sh*t and they can go f*ck themself. I bought a new probably better HDD for 75$ instead, haven't received it yet but hopefully this will fix my problem.
