This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Samsung Q35 battery life

    I phoned tech support, and they've escalated the issue. The guy said to look out for a new BIOS, as it'll be taken pretty seriously, and fixed ASAP. Personally though, if I don't have any problems, then I think I'll stick with 22SD.

    Its good to have finally found the root cause of the problem. It looked like the burgeoning start of a long saga of replacement laptops but its good to hear that it is simple a BIOS issue that can be resolved (albeit with some minor difficulties).

    Yeah...I was sure I was going to have the hassle of getting it replaced......I'm just glad there was a relatively simple solution.
