I've set my Samsung Q210 to do a weekly automatic back up, and for about 2 weeks it has failed to do so. I assumed it was related to my HD being too full (its partitioned with one of the partitions being reserved for back ups only) Well I deleted some of the older back ups and have now by far enough space for new ones but it still gives me an error message. I can't figure out what is wrong though  ... Does anyone have an idea how i can get the back up to run again?
    Thanks!! :)

Ummm. Did you delete the files in Explorer or by using the Samsung Recovery Solution? Does SRS acknowledge that the space is there?

Have you tried re-installing the Samsung Recovery Software.

No I haven't tried that yet. I wouldn't loose my already backed up data if I did that cause I'm writing dissertations so I really cant afford to loose anything currently? (sorry assume its a stupid question but better double-check...)

SRS doesn't tell me whats wrong. It just says 'back-up failed'. I just assumed it may be too full... Well I deleted it in Explorer...

    Thanks :)

You will not loose your backup data if you re-install Samsung Recovery Software, the backup details are stored in the recovery partition and the data is stored on your d drive or what every you selected.

I use to have a Q210 and i did dozens of full backup and restores.
