    Hi all,

I'm about to buy a Q210 or Q310, can't make my mind yet and I still have to find a dealer in belgium.

I had a quick look to the driver download page for those laptops and to my surprise, it seems that everything is available for Win XP !?

Could someone confirm this ? Is the XP downgrade on those laptops a flawless operation ? 100% hardware recognition ? Does the gfx card switch on the fly works under XP or does it require a reboot ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Do the Q210 / Q310 have switchable graphics? If so, that's a feature I had missed.

One reason for a set of XP drivers is that the P series equivalent models (physically similar but lacking the shiny surfaces and screen) are sold with Vista business + XP downgrade option.

    Hi.

The Q210-310 don't have switchable graphics, they only have an Nvidia 9200m GS.

I think all the Xp drivers and software is there on the Samsung Website, but you will only get Dx9.0 in Xp , opposed to Dx10.0 in Vista.

    Regards

    John.
