This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Samsung Notebooks to end? Is there a future to Notebooks?

    I read Notebooks from Samsung will not be sold in South Africa next year.

    A Samsung salesman at the main Samsung store of the country (Czech Republic) told me they are not waiting for new Samsung Notebooks this year (2014).

    In Italy, I called Samsung directly and they expect Samsung to close Notebook sales in 2015.

    Ok ... so what is going on? Is this truly the future? Switching Tablets from Notebooks? Really?

    Does anyone have news about this? Not even the high end notebooks?
